Mrs Anna Sotiriadou, Head of the Computer Science Department at the International Faculty, received the Senate Award for "Sustained Excellence in Learning & Teaching" at the University of Sheffield International Faculty Graduation Ceremony that took place 24 November 2018 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Prof Petros Kefalas, Dr Dimitris Dranidis, Dr Thomas Lagkas, Dr Ioanna Stamatopoulou, Mrs Aggeliki Papakonstantinou and Mr Thanos Hatziapostolou became Fellows of UK's Higher Education Academy (HEA), after successfully completing the HEA accredited CiLT programme of the University of Sheffield.
Professor Petros Kefalas, Vice-Principal for Learning & Teaching at the International Faculty, received the Senate Award for "Leadership in Learning & Teaching" at the University of Sheffield Graduation Ceremony that took place 10 January 2017 in Sheffield, UK.
